About the Permanent Mission

The Permanent Mission works in partnership with several Member States of the United Nations and other institutions to promote and represent the interest of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia at the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations based in Switzerland.

Since 2001, it also functions as the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Switzerland and is responsible for bilateral contacts and agreements with the Swiss Government.

It also provides Consular Service to Ethiopian and other nationals who are traveling to Ethiopia on business or tourism.
